Flat Feet is also referred to as pes planus, or fallen arches. It’s normal in infants and usually disappears between ages 2 and 3 years, but it can last through adulthood.
Injuries of the foot and ankle happen quite frequently, primarily due to stresses and strains applied to the foot as well as the simple fact that the foot seems to be a focal point for trauma.
Charcot foot results from numbness of the foot or ankles. The loss of sensation is the result of a type of nerve damage. This can causes the bones in the foot to become weak and prone to damage.
